A mother’s love

I saw the light that shone from,
A heart buried in a sandstorm
A face that told none what
It held in its wooden box
A girl with leather eyes, and
A women with pointed jems
A girl of emeralds that vied for love
A women of rags that craved stones
In each other they found that,
The price of love was far fetched
And that a mother's love was lost
Only to be found in that little wooden box
