A Mother’s Sorrow

Once a babe was on its way,
now only bleeding in the way.
She had her clothes all set to go,
then got hit by a powerful woe.
She will never forget what she's lost,
If she had only known the cost.
She is still living while the babe is no longer,
in her mind she still wanders.
She wanders to a place where she sees her babe,
where she can embrace.
Then she wakes up to recall,
that her babe would want her not to long.
She takes a breath so she can see,
that this was always her destiny.
