A Mother’s Sorrow

From a dream I awaken, forced to face reality
My pillow wet, crying has become my new specialty

It's 3:30 in the morning, my mind racing
I gotta get this all down on paper, so my memory I ain't chasing

Beautiful dreams and hurtful sorrow
Crazy world with no roads to follow

Can't you see my life's so messed up without you
Genecee and Bubby, your mommy's whole life, this just can't be true

I close my eyes and we're together, living in paradise
Given the chance to see you again, my life I'd willing sacrifice
