A Mother’s Will For My Children

Will you help me to walk when my legs are unstable
Will you bring me my food when I cannot go to the table
Will you intercede and make me special to my Grands
Will you have patience when I ask you again and again
Will you know in your heart that I try hard as I can
Will you protect me from mockery when people don't understand
Will you not take offense if I seem to intrude
Will it be obvious that I don't mean to be rude
Will you love me tomorrow as I will love you
Will you think of me fondly when my life here is through?
