A New Beginning

Blank pages stare back at me,
Eyes glazed over.
Infinity can last forever,
But only if you make it.

Rushing through your veins,
But all the rushing is through,
Your eyes start to flutter
And things start to blur.

A single tear rolls down your face.
Your eyes start to close.
Enveloped in a darkness,
A light shines through.

Maybe this is the end,
But that was the goal.
The end is near.
Maybe it's a new beginning.
