A new Beginning

A New Beginning
by
Charles Bentley

The seconds tick down as the new years draws near,
A new beginning starts with a loud cheer.

Spring will come and flowers bloom,
signals the end of the winters doom.

The hot summer appears with rays from the sun,
a trip to beach and vacation so fun.

School starts back and Fall rushes in,
leaves will turn brown as winter appears.

The days will draw short and cold will cause chills,
the warmth of the house, it just fits the bill.

Though the end of the year, appears right on time,
The New Beginning appears with the hands of time.
