I love you when you're sad
I play nice tunes to you
I love just as much
To help you from your wounds
Don't you strike this self away
You know I'm going to stay
Do you think this plight you bear
Will kill me if I'm near
Or do you bear thy anger's roots
Which fearfully controls you
Like one sun to shine the earth
So is your blessing from your birth
If you frown at me the more
I'll frown you back in kind reward
If you're strict in such poor thoughts
To embrace a brother of his faults
I'll call your grace of nine to ten
And bid you till we learn.
