A Place I Couldn’t See
As I look out into the pastures of yonder
Thoughts cross mine I soon then ponder
What if the days were longer than are
Endless beauty or beasts burdened by far?
Is the idea just so because it can never be
Forward never backward for it would see travesty
Thus our life to be in this frame of mind
Not in the state thought before which is time
Doubts are an absolute must for all around
Sought events are by which we are bound
Sight in the nary was never the way
On looking nor passing with nothing to say
Kept under lock and key in a place so dark
For all the wonder free given with such spark
Allowed not, no forbidden even to dream
Wanting only forever to cry or scream
