A Place in My Mind

There is a place in my mind -
Infested by Tears and Fear,
Polluted by Lies and Goodbyes,
Tainted by Vein and devilish Pain.
At times I hear it speak - with a horrific voice that makes my ears want to leak.
It may whisper, it may scream - as if I I was trapped inside a hellish dream.
It is dirty, it is poor - all of this I locked behind some hidden door.
Behind this door lays a boy - looking only for joy.
Caught amongst the hellish screams, he was lost inside his endless dreams.
A piece of Me trapped inside the thought of being Thee.
Who am I ? - The question we all try to deny.
