A Poem For My Mom

By

For all the things I didn't say,
About how I felt along the way,
For all the love you gave, and
The work you've done mother,
Here's appreciation from your
Daughter,
You cared for me as a little baby ,
I'm sure I cried a lot,
It couldn't have been easy ,
The late nights staying up with me.
Thank you for all the playing of blocks,
Thank you for all the reading of
Stories,
Thank you for all the late night diaper changes.
I grew some more and it didn't stop,
You worried about choices I'd make in,
My life, you kept me in line for my own
Sake. So, for all the times I didn't say the love,
I felt for you each day , mom you can read this and,
You can know how much I love you so, no matter how,
Much I've grown, I'll always be your baby girl,
Your loving daughter, your world.
And no matter how old or wise you get,
Mama you'll always be my mother,
The best mother in this world to me.
I hope you see just how much you mean the world to me.
