A Poem For My Mom

By

For all the things I didn't say,
About how I felt along the way,
For the love you gave, and the
Work you've done mother, here's appreciation,
From your daughter, you cared for
Me as a little ,
Baby, I'm sure I cried a lot ,
It couldn't have been easy ,
The late nights staying up with me!
Thank you for all the playing, thank you,
For all the reading of stories,
Thank you for the diaper changes.
I grew up some more and it didn't ,
Stop , you worried about ,
Decisions I'd make in my life.
You kept me in line for my own sake.
So, for all the times I didn't say the love I felt for,
You each day, mom you can read this,
And you can know how much I love you, no matter how,
Much I've grown I'll always be your baby girl,
Your loving daughter, your world.
And no matter how old or wise you
Get mama,
You'll always be my mother, the best mother in this,
World to me! I hope you can see just
How much you mean the world to me!
