A Poem For Nobody

By Ladybug    Ladybug

They see me smiling at my phone

They want to know who I’m messaging

I simply say, “Nobody.”

They hear me laughing and making jokes from my room

They want to know who I’m talking to

I simply say, “Nobody.”

They notice I’m happier

They want to know who’s responsible

I simply say, “Nobody.”

They see my blushing face

They want to know who could make me so flustered

I simply say, “Nobody.”

They see my small frowns

They want to know who made me upset

I simply say, “Nobody.”

They hear my crying

They want to know who made me sad

I simply say, “Nobody.”

They know something’s wrong

They ask me who I’m trying to forget

I say nothing

As much as it hurts, I don’t want to forget you.

So, I don't think that this is my best work, but it's important to me.
