A promise of release

In love with death,
A haunting embrace,
An alluring whisper,
Pulling me closer,
Into the dark abyss.

The shadows call,
A siren's song,
Enticing me,
To let go,
And drift away.

I feel no fear,
No pain,
Just a sense of peace,
As I surrender,
To the unknown.

In love with death,
I find solace,
In the quiet stillness,
Of eternal rest,
And the promise of release.

But in the end,
I know,
That love can be deceiving,
And death,
Is not always kind.
