I awoke today staring at the dark waters edge, it to stared back, the soft autumn breeze carried, a gentle touch that crest my neck and hair as it filtered the light casting shadows upon the lake I lay by. Time is of no value here, and I look not to see where the sun lies; tis only I and the lake, side by side, one in whole. I've begun to feel a miasma of slumber fill the air, my eyes close as i lay my head by the still beauitful lake;
I awoke today staring at the dark waters edge, only now, it has no eyes to stare back. I no longer feel the soft autumn breeze or see the shadows cast the lake, time has resumed and the sun sets the clock, and what is left is only myself and a reflection.
