A Resurrected Heart

For years,
this heart lay dormant,
awaiting for a flicker
that would ignite the flame.

Broken,
shattered by the world,
my love was locked away
by my own cumbersome blight.

My dear,
that long sought for spark,
disguised prior by the luster
of your galaxy eyes.

In a flash,
sparks turned into a blaze,
thus engulfing me within
the warmth of your love.
