A Robin's Song

Little Robin, Little Robin, in the juniper tree,
Why do you cast your gaze upon me?
I am far too sad to behold your face,
I am much too shy in my current disgrace.
There is nothing for you to see within me.
One who is ever so pure and so free.
And although I know your song,
From a friend long gone,
And your presence refreshes my soul.
I do wish that you would just go...
Because behind your eyes, there is a mystery,
And there is nothing within that is clear to me...
And you make me to question my sanity...
Little Robin, Little Robin in the Juniper Tree...
