A Rock Through a Funnel

My pencil is sharp,
yet it writes so dull,
and I can't see the light through this dark tunnel.
But things take time,
and time takes money,
and even a rock can fit through a funnel.
I tell myself to wait,
because eventually my eyes will adjust.
Darkness cannot dim a light.
And though my pencil is now broken,
and I'm blind through this darkness,
with your hand guiding me,
I can go anywhere without my sight.
