A Shot of Inspiration

And carry on, old friend,
Through the thick fog and thin ice,
Through the treacherous shadows in the woods unknown,
And through the darkest corners of your mind's eye.

Through the thick fog and thin ice,
Rage on against the beasts and monsters who try to stop you,
And through the darkest corners of your mind;
Fight the good fight.

Raging on against those beasts, those monsters who try and stop you,
Never once think you're alone.
Fight the good fight.
Never fret about what lies behind you.

Never once think you're by yourself.
My word and prayers will always be yours.
Never fret about what lies ahead of you,
And carry on, old friend.
