A Silent World

If, in the world, we keep in mind,
The maladies that we may find
And in this truth, we all are lost,
The price of life at such a cost.
And in these things that we may see
Will play a dismal melody,
Still doomed to listen on this earth
Each one will question their own worth
Running, searching, as we go
To an answer we will never know
If everything is out of reach
The will to listen, I must teach
I know that I will end up dead
With words unheard, and left unsaid
