This is a simple truth
I thought to give to you
I feared the slippery skill of tongue
And prayed not to say any wrong
This poem I write is not by chance
Heed not the thoughts against thyself
Do address them wholly with thy partial self
For I know what's like to achieve thy greatest earth
Your work being worth and smiling safely home
This is a simple truth
Said I from the standard books
Don't let the doom drive inward
As well as kill your thoughts
If in good health and great psychology
I'm just a poet
I tell you what I think I know
Because that's how the heavens blesses me.
