A Single Glance

A single glance
A woman so regular but with no other to compare
Clear skin with light shadows and cheery lips
Glossed with hope the same light as her eyes
Only identified by one silver ball hanging from her ear
And my curiosity of what she just witnessed
A single glance
Her face so empty of emotion but drowning in it at the same time
So innocent yet full of history
With that single glance she speaks a million paragraphs
