A song it was the world whispered
A song, it was, the world whispered, when I
First stepped out of my infancy, wide-eyed.
To capture inaudible sounds, I tried.
My ears were drawn to it, lest it would die.
To it, my ears, as years passed by, tuned I.
Through tears and laughter, it choose to reside
Within my heart, like a friend that complied,
Inaudible other times, I wondered why.
Heart's woes, with strength, when it does nullify,
When joys do bear wings in the hearts untied,
When hearts let in highs and lows that edify,
The soul then encounters the meaning wide,
Of life, with which it has to vivify.
The song thus stems when they are unified.
