A Soul Set Free

The love of my Mother was like no other,
She was gracious, caring and kind.

A gift from God for the world to love,
She nurtured a spirit as meek as a dove.

But heartbroken and weak her will did die,
Though seeking God's presence, she is now alive;

While she has gone home and we're now alone,
Left only with a memory of a soul so kind.

I miss you Mom like I said I would,
And with God's strength I'll be forever good.

And then some day, God will call me away,
And with you I will be and we will both see,
This place God has for you and for me.
