A soul that won’t abide
The body aches from secrets denied,?geared towards a life of prying eyes,?entrapped in a soul that won’t abide.??A cycle so awful that won’t subside,?a creature accustomed to praying cries,?The body aches from secrets denied.??A broken heart stuck in a place of pride,?processor pleading and paralyzed,?entrapped in a soul that won’t abide.??Though nothing can match tears full of heat,?a deep, dark wound forever dies,?The body aches from secrets denied.??A refuge of hope so hard to find?binding monster-like in wicked ties,?entrapped in a soul that won’t abide.??Once love, so pure and warm, seemed to be,?now suffocated on hypocrisy,?The body aches from secrets denied,?entrapped in a soul that won’t abide.
