A Spring Wind Blows
The little things flow, as the big thoughts fly,
The spring wind blows, as the winter winds die,
I sing and I show, her, my splinters and cries,
Which came from the winter, as blue as her eyes.
The winter winds blew, and now they must fade,
For spring makes a-new, as when grass hits a blade,
I was cold as a shrew, when the winter winds came,
But spring has renewed, what once went away.
The spring wind cools, what the winter left cracked,
The new gives fuel- what the winter ground lacked,
So now that it's spring, I shall dance all around!
And smile and sing, as fruit hits the ground.
The spring winds stay, in my body and mind,
I'll think of these days, when it's hot and unkind,
For summer and fall, bring the new to an end,
But the spring wind blows, ever, again and again.
