A story Unworthy

There once was a girl
Who had a care for the world
She shared her smiles with everyone
Even though no one returned them
Then one day her eyes fully opened and she could finally see
The world around her was beautiful but not the people it seemed
She's not good at anything but she tries her best
And yet no one welcomes her even as a guest
Her attempts are wasted
Like she never existed
Now her body is in pain
As she drowns in her own shame
For all that she sees
They only do as they please
Her hatred will grow
And her will lost in rage
A terrible anger, locked in a cage
For all that she was is lost in her pain
She smiles as the feeling overfills
Her pity for the people who pop their pills
She wants to run
She wants to fight
But she's too exhausted so she's out for the night
Goodnight she will say
I hope you or I will live the next day
