A Stranger\’s Love

The rushing rivers of love and sanctity
Fill up my heart
The heat of passion and lust,
Glowing embers split apart

My soul perches upon a swing
Legs swinging to and fro
Eyes drinking in the sight of him
Hidden amongst moonlight's pale glow

Breezes flit through the air
Carrying waves of transcending yearning
As the first dawn breaks
Sparking a realization of mourning

I have bequeathed my heart to him
Yet he does not know
How far the light travels or lightness
Of breezes or my inherent sorrow
