A Streak in the Sky

A streak in the sky
Sometimes just a flash,
When you see you shiver,
And wish you were at home.

Coming before my friends,
Though they are somewhere too,
I am just the background,
They the symphony.

My friends, the bold ones,
Making up for silent me,
"Pitter, patter," she asks,
Clapping, rolling and with a boom, he responds.

Talkative, but harmless are they,
It is I who am the danger,
The one who makes you cautious,
They warning you of me.
