A stream


A stream
Runs the magic waters
Rolls and plays with, crawfish,
Turtles, tadpoles and frogs
A stream caresses the green moss
Softly touching the land,
The pebbles make music as they meet,
Echos of the silent rocks,
A stream pauses rapidly and steadfastly,
Making swirls,
Mirror of the heavens,
Mirror of the sky,
Mirror of the trees,
Torrence of dry leaves,
Dragonflies,
Hummingbirds,
Green snakes,
All stop for a drink,
We all hear the messages
The water brings
Passing thru the night
Waiting for a harvest moon,
Shootings stars,
Reflection upon its waters,
A stream.......................
