A Summer’s Night Out

Have you ever watched the stars
Until there was a glimpse of a twinkle
A word so fitly spoken
yet, in the tone of a whisper.

The clustered ones together
would keep you pondering all night
Trying to match the who's and what's
And figure out the plight.

Then there are the clouds
Moving at a steady pace
While formed together, once,
I saw an Angels face.

In the still of the night
There is so much peace abroad
One would wish it lasts forever
Unto "Thee" we give a laud

All these things and more
Captured in a summer's night
If only one released himself
To the King, and not the Knight
