A Thousand You’s

There are a thousand me's and a thousand you's
There are a thousand truths that a thousand knew
A couple thousand grew; a couple thousand sat still
A couple thousand fakes; a couple thousand real
A couple thousand will; a couple thousand won't
A couple thousand can; a couple thousand don't
There's a thousand people with a thousand problems
There's a thousand people
that wouldn't rather be bothered
There's a thousand lovers and a thousand haters
There's a thousand Gods, but there's only one Savior
There's a thousand stories and a thousand fables
There's a thousand mothers and a thousand babies
There's a thousand trees and a thousand birds
There's a thousand poets with spoken words
There's a thousand truths that a thousand knew
A couple thousand sank and a couple thousand grew
There's a thousand me's; there's a thousand you's
There's a thousand of us; that means
that we're really all basic
There's a thousand me's; a thousand you's
a thousand ways we have to just face it
