A Toast

Drinking from thy golden cup,
Sweet liquor lavishing down thy throat.
Sensation coursing through thy veins,
A sound comes out as if I croaked.
Dear friend I say to you,
Let thy gods shine light upon us
Shall we dance and laugh and celebrate our lives
For we toast to our only one and live it wisely.
Thy golden cup is now empty.
Dear friend our time has come to end,
So now I must bid you adieu,
Until next time my dear friend.
