A Trucker’s Wife

It takes a special kind of woman to stand strong by her trucker,
sitting at home all alone & her truckers not home,
many miles every day many states away,
holding back the tears when he asks is everything okay,
yearning for his tender touch & wanting to be held tight
knowing being safely in his arms everything will be alright,
even though I'm lonely & pouting I miss you so bad
I can't possibly be mad cause what
He does is for his family & this is where my story ends,
