A Walk Down the Street

A Walk Down the Street

Its seven in the morning
I got two hours of sleep
The beginning of the morning was very boring
Walked outside to hear the birds peep

I started walking down the street
Making beats with my feet
The doors of other people's homes opened with a creek

Walk by peoples homes seeing they're tired faces
Dogs are barking and chasing me on the other side of the fences
The dogs smiled but it looked like one needed braces

I started walking back it was an enjoyable walk
I couldn’t finish the walk because the road was blocked
I headed back home
The dogs barked the birds peeped
As I walked back up the street
