A Winter Wonderland

The air grows chill as cool flakes float down from the sky.
The clouds are gray and the wind dances through the air.
White snow blankets the grass like a wool sweater.
I stick out my tongue and twirl around the icy grass.
A carrot-nosed snowman looks at me with a friendly smile of coal.
I look around at the neighbors shoveling snow in layers of coats.
Red and green wreaths dangle from doors along the street.
Snowballs whiz through the air and snow angels dot the ground.
Colorful lights illuminate all of the houses across the neighborhood.
I am truly in a winter wonderland.
