A Wintery Day

When leaves fall and branches quiver,
And animals hide, with a shiver.
The cloudy clouds cry out snow,
That fall from the sky, what a show!

Winter is ice cold, do not forget,
And also, it is very wet.
Meadow hills all pearly white,
With snow up to my knees, at that height.

Winter, this freezing season is called,
And it is impossible to get a scald.
I love winter because of the view,
But be careful, you might get the flu!

In, the mountains, people go skiing,
Or maybe they go sightseeing.
But then, wind rises and blows,
As cold as the water from a hose!

Oh, winter! My favourite season!
I don't know why, there is no reason.
I'm sorry to say, but this is the end,
And I hoped you liked it, my dearest friend!
