A Woman of Strength
A woman of strength means many things.
She's a rock because she stands her ground.
She's the blanket that keeps me safe from monsters under my bed.
She tells me to wake up sounding like a toy, fully wound.
She sounds like thunder when she shouts.
She's light because she's quick, to react.
She sounds like water in a pond when she comforts
She's so heroic that she makes batman's voice crack.
Watchful for anything that could hurt me.
Always showing unconditional care.
She's a paint brush because she creates.
She has confidence that could startle an angry bear.
She dedicated a part of her life to ensure I was loved.
She comes to the rescue when I fall.
She has been caring for me since I was born.
She has the strength to give me when I call.
She inspires that part of me.
A part of me wants to help save this world
She helps find a part of me that you never knew I had.
She's like kindling of the fire that me are inside.
She's the woman of strength.
She is my mom.
