The screams of a little boy
And the harshness in his daddy's voice,
Echoes inside your head.
His cries for help,
Tears streaming down his face,
And he said
"Daddy, please stop.
You're only hitting me because Mommy left last night."
His father turns, grabs him and says,
"She left because you're a mess,
Nobody will ever love you,
So leave me alone-now and forever."
Later that night,
While his father was sleeping,
He went to the foot of his father's bed.
Put the gun to his head and said,
"Daddy you're the reason she's gone;
No one will ever love you,
So here's what you wanted from the start."
