In our sadness we are all but alone,
the shudder of our voices is loud and brief.
But my soul is silent,
dead and lost in the fragments of a heart tattered and worn.
I wish for absolution,
forgiveness and death.
I only wanted to be happy,
and for those around me nothing but elation.
Forgive my selfish heart,
But I cannot continue this life,
living in constant pain and the struggle for love.
Give my love flight and send it on angels wings to the world,
You two were the lights in my darkness,
but my pain blinded me too it.
I loved you but the darkness has won,
and I haven't the strength to endure as I thought I had.
You will continue to echo across time forever in my memory.
