Acceptance

For years, it was hate
The fact that you're aren't straight
Tried what not to change you
Every trick in the book and then few
Made you face heat
Then medicines on repeat
You just pretended to change
But you never did estrange
Stood by your stand never budged
Even when being judged
I left you neglected
Like you were something infected
For the longest time , until
I met true good will
People who were fine with you
Actually were proud of you
They showed me you're special
Taught how to take care of you
And since then I've loved you
Hoping to do all that's due
No matter what the world says
You will overcome all the days
They will stop trying to change you
Soon, and finally accept you
