Accepted

The very fear of failure
In itself is the scare
we elude our ears to hear
Since in our eyes it concludes a tear
We wish not to bear
So we share this mere stride
To perfection on our way to be great
To reach this pinnacle this accolade
Of praise that we indeed love to hate
But when we receive it
We choose not to believe it
To then question our morals of our own fate
To become isolated from people on being able to relate
Like muscles covering bones we want to feel protected
Like a cellphone to a signal we want to feel connected
Once we attain this respect
Then we won't neglect it
This life we distract our motives to affect it
An Emotionless life that we fear is accepted
