Accommodating Nomads

We saw a bizarre man walk towards our settlement
His face sullen like a lost traveller, who made the wrong turn
Walking jaggedly towards us, we rushed to catch him, before he crumbled beneath our feet
Upon closer inspection, we realised he wasn’t one of our own
We already figured when we saw he had no herd or a companion by his side
To us he seemed strange, but any stranger in need is one our own
We gave him camel milk to regain his strength and shared with him the little food we had
We gave him a place to rest his mind and soul
So that maybe he will be to tell us why God brought him to us
