ADAM
Fallen man, o fallen man
Falsifies heaven’s breath
And calcified the call of man
hallow man, oh hallow man
What terrible treasures has your sovereign will unearthed
To forget the will of Him who is sovereign who had formed you from the earth.
Oh son of man, where are your hands?
That hold foreknowledge
to remove transgressions snare
Of sacrilege and cartilage
The break that became the bend
To bend beneath the irons glare
Melting down the iron man’s stand
Falsifies heaven’s breath
And calcified the call of man
hallow man, oh hallow man
What terrible treasures has your sovereign will unearthed
To forget the will of Him who is sovereign who had formed you from the earth.
Oh son of man, where are your hands?
That hold foreknowledge
to remove transgressions snare
Of sacrilege and cartilage
The break that became the bend
To bend beneath the irons glare
Melting down the iron man’s stand
