By Lux

You don’t trust religion
and you work to keep busy
the body and mind.
Brighten up everyone you can
and even indulge yourself,
but it is temporary.
For even the slightest smile
-you would run a mile.
Through it all
you find it a challenge
-to pat yourself on the back.
Not long will you stay on this Earth.
So maybe,
one more smile is all that you need.
