Addicted

You are my lethal drug
you make me feel high,
light, floating in the clouds.
You are my vaccine
when I'm sick and down.
Now you're my pain;
it grows and grows and keeps bleeding.
Puff on the vapor,
sailing away from reality.
You are my beautiful tragedy,
I'm an addict, a feign.
I'm your number one fan,
I will love you like no one else can.
My high is wearing off,
I need you now,
my valium; make me smile and be peaceful again.
Just another kiss,
One touch and the sadness will stop.
Your presence is my lovely weakness,
my angelic past,
my present wickedness,
my prescription-filled future.
