In addiction
you become the one you most fear.
Addiction has no soul, your breaths are a sigh of death.
Numbness corrodes you to the deepest depths of your bones.
arctic storm makes the heart grow cold.
Compassion fades as the skin above it.
survival only causes pain within yourself and the ones upon you.
everyone around you feels the wrath of the demons that now exist.
your soul in the grips of the devil himself.
sulfuring everything in the path to give the allusion of control.
Addiction is endless lies that attack our minds,
giving us a sense that we are greater than the universe that
we are greater than the drug.
The body endures sin as if we are possessed.
Fear fades, we feel as though we are Invincible.
Invincible is the word addiction, there is no hope.
our body's begin to desegregate and the mirror tells us different.
All angels fall, but its the strongest ones that make it out alive.
