Addiction Prediction

Oblivious to the world around your addiction
And everyone else takes one look and makes there prediction
Your caught wishing away all convictions
Just Reminiscing on what seemed like yesterday
The thought crossed your mind that
Someone like you would never end up this way
But circumstances always change and your
Pressured and tested until headed down the wrong lane
Filled with shame along with the person you became
Not worried about blame cause your thirst for the worst
Is ready for you to reclaim its curse
So the search Continues While living sober offends you
How much longer can someone pretend to stare?
When there’s nothing there but memories to bare
Everyone is given their fair share
