Admiration of Another

Admiration of Another

I wonder if she thinks the same of me
I cannot help the feelings that may show
I catch her glance, her smile and I believe

She sits there quietly under that tree
“Why don’t you speak to her,” my mind screams “Go!”
I wonder if she thinks the same of me

To unlock her heart, wish I had the key
My heart races miles when she says “Hello”
I catch her glance, her smile and I believe

If I open my heart would you just flee?
If I hold it in will I ever know?
I wonder if she thinks the same of me

These emotions get me lost in the sea
It is spring time, so why is there still snow?
I catch her glance, her smile and I believe

But this is much to foggy to foresee
Despite the things that I undergo
I wonder if she thinks the same of me
I catch her glance, her smile and I believe
