No later than May,
There we lay,
Down by the bay.,
He wanted to play.
And what can I say?
I found love that day.
It went away.
Can't you see?
I'm not proud of me.
Don't make me plea,
Just let me be.
It was gone like 1,2,3,
And I held the key,
To my own chastity.
That's where it ends
He never called back again.
But I can say,
If I had the chance today,
I would change the way
Things turned out that May.
But don't judge me.
One day you'll see,
How convincing they can be.
