Advice for Actors

And when you scream,
you scream for all
who have ever lost a child.
For the father who held his little boy,
and was helpless to stop the pain,
the pitiless advance of death.
Your heart beats with a mother
who has lost the life inside.
The agony
will haunt you forever.
You scream
the way their heart screams,
though it never makes a sound.
